Sleeping Dog [ small imperfection ]

** This piece has a very small imperfection of about 25mm which you can see in the photos. It does affect the integrity of the piece. Small splits like this often happen during firing whith pieces that have a very irregular shape with many curves and sharp corners. They happen during the firing of the piece - not through impact or shock. It is a lovely piece that I am sure someone will enjoy for many years to come. **

Glazed stoneware. Approximately 20 cm wide x 35 cm tall

This is a unique piece, carved in bas-relief technique and finished in a glossy glaze with cobalt highlights.
